Congratulations to Sabine Lee and Susan Bartels for their Impactful Article in The Conversation

Sabine Lee and Susan Bartels have published an article in The Conversation entitled, ‘They put a few coins in your hands to drop a baby in you’ – 265 stories of Haitian children abandoned by UN fathers'. The article explores the research that Sabine and Susan have thus far undertaken in Haiti regarding children fathered by peace-keeper personnel. The link to the article is here.

The reaction to the article has been swift, with mainstream media such as The Times publishing articles on both the 18th and 19th of December. The Times reports that Haiti's foreign minister Bocchit Edmond, has demanded answers from the UN about the results of the study.
