Many congratulations to our partner Dr Allen Kiconco on the publication of her first book, Gender, Conflict and Reintegration in Uganda: Abducted Girls, Returning Women. This important work is based on the detailed original research she conducted for her PhD thesis at the University of Birmingham. It considers the difficult situations that girls, abducted by the Lord’s Resistance Army, confronted when they returned home and focuses on the challenges of reintegration. Her book
